Dr. Paul Geltner, D.S.W., L.C.S.W.

Paul Geltner, D.S.W., L.C.S.W. is in private practice in New York City and Brooklyn.  He works with a wide range range of individual patients. Dr. Geltner has taught at a number of psychoanalytic training institutes, including the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center, Northern Rockies Psychoanalytic Institute, Mid-Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, and the Colorado Center for Modern Psychoanalysis.  Although his theoretical specialty is countertransference and psychoanalytic technique,  he has presented on topics such as the diagnosis and treatment of patients with bipolar disorder, attention deficit disorder and learning disabilities, on child treatment, and on commonalities among the various schools of psychoanalytic practice.
